Our take on the XJD 12V Electric Ride-On Bumper Car

The XJD 12V Electric Ride-On Bumper Car is a single-seat battery-powered toy car with a round bumper body, a 3 mph top speed and a 25 lb weight limit. It runs on a 12V battery and measures about 25 x 25 x 18 inches, so it suits toddlers rather than older kids. It is a low-speed indoor or smooth-pavement toy, not a road vehicle. The 25 lb cap is the key limit: many 3-year-olds already exceed it.

Questions and answers

Is the XJD bumper car worth it?
It depends on the child's weight. At 25 lb the car is outgrown quickly, so it makes sense mainly as a first ride-on for a small toddler. Older or heavier kids will get little use from it.
What age is this bumper car for?
The 25 lb weight limit points to roughly ages 1 to 3. Check your child's weight before buying, since many 3-year-olds are already over the cap.
How fast does it go?
Top speed is 3 mph, about walking pace. That is slow enough for indoor and driveway play but will feel tame to a 5-year-old.
How long does the battery last?
XJD does not publish a runtime or charge time for this model. Expect short play sessions typical of 12V toddler cars and plan to recharge between uses.
Can two children ride it?
No. It has one seat and a 25 lb total load limit, so it is a single-rider toy.
What is in the box?
The listing does not detail the contents. Expect the car, battery and charger; confirm the included parts with the seller before ordering.
