It needs a standard 2-inch hitch receiver. It does not fit 1.25-inch hitches. Check your hitch's tongue weight rating, since loaded bikes and gear add up.

Can I use the DoubleUp without the SwingBase?

Yes. The DoubleUp also mounts on the EXO TopShelf, but it needs one of the two EXO bases to attach to a vehicle.

How much bike weight can it carry?

Two bikes at up to 40 lbs each. That covers most e-bikes, but check your hitch's tongue weight limit as well.

Will it fit my fat bike?

Yes. It accepts tires up to 4.8 inches wide and wheels from 20 to 29 inches.

Is it locked to the car?
