A 6-piece all-birch shell pack in Yamaha's long-running Stage Custom line, configured as a fusion kit: 20x17 bass drum, 12x8 rack tom, 14x5.5 snare and 16x15 floor tom, with two double tom arms included. Birch shells give a punchy, focused attack with a controlled low end, and the lacquer Honey Amber finish is a step above the wrapped finishes usually found at this price. At $959.96 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, well under the typical $1,000-plus street price for this configuration.

Owners of the Stage Custom Birch line consistently rate it as one of the best value all-birch kits available, praising its build quality, tuning stability and punchy sound. The fusion configuration draws particular praise from gigging drummers for its compact size. Complaints are mostly about the heads and the lack of included hardware.
