Does this kit include a snare drum?

No. It is a shell pack of bass drum, two rack toms and a floor tom. You need to add a snare, hardware and cymbals.

What sizes are in the pack?

The listing names a 22-inch bass drum with toms and a floor tom. Confirm exact tom sizes with the store before ordering.

Yes. Thin maple shells record cleanly and are easy to mic, which is why many studios and gigging drummers use them.

It uses all-maple shells and better hardware than entry kits, so it sounds fuller and holds up longer under regular gigging.
