Our take on the YETI Daytrip 9L Insulated Box

The YETI Daytrip 9L Insulated Box is a soft-sided insulated cooler bag with a rigid, leak-resistant liner and about 9.5 quarts of capacity. It is built for day trips, lunches and short outings, with a wide opening and a removable liner for easy cleaning. The only new price listed is $1,750.00 at Corporate Gear as of November 3, 2026, which is far above what this cooler normally sells for, so there is no sign of a deal here.

Questions and answers

Is the YETI Daytrip 9L worth it?
It is a well-built soft cooler that suits lunches and day trips. At the listed $1,750.00 at Corporate Gear as of November 3, 2026, it is not worth buying; wait for a price near its normal retail level.
How much does the Daytrip 9L hold?
About 9.5 quarts, roughly a dozen cans plus ice or a lunch for one or two people. It is not sized for a group or a multi-day trip.
Does it keep ice frozen all day?
With a freezer pack or a good ice-to-contents ratio it holds cold through a day out. A hard cooler will last longer in heat.
Is the liner leakproof?
The liner is leak-resistant and removable for cleaning. It is not meant to be filled with loose liquid like a hard cooler.
What comes in the box?
The cooler bag and its removable liner. Ice packs and straps are sold separately.
When is it cheapest?
Soft coolers like this usually drop during end-of-season and holiday sales. Track the price history here rather than paying the current $1,750.00 listing.
