Our take on the Yobobo Tool Bag for Hand Tools

The Yobobo TG01 is a soft roll-up tool bag made of 1200D Oxford fabric, sold in army green. It unrolls into six zippered compartments and rolls down to about 13 by 4.7 inches, so it fits in a drawer or a truck door pocket. It is rated for 27 lb and listed as water resistant. At $30.59 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price we track, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Best forHomeowners keeping a small tool kit in a drawerCar and RV owners who want a compact tool roll
Electricians and installers carrying hand tools to small jobs
Gifts for a new homeowner or first apartment
Pros
  • Six zippered compartments keep tools separated and visible when unrolled
  • Rolls to 13 x 4.7 inches, small enough for a drawer or glovebox
  • 1200D Oxford fabric is a heavy weave for this price
  • Water resistant coating and a 2-year warranty
  • 27 lb load rating covers a full set of hand tools
Cons
  • Only one new price tracked, so you cannot judge whether $30.59 is a low point
  • 8 cm depth limits bulky items like large hammers or power tools
  • Roll-up design has no rigid frame, so it slumps when partly full
  • Zippers, not elastic loops, so tools can shift inside a compartment

Questions and answers

Is the Yobobo TG01 tool bag worth $30.59?
At $30.59 it is priced like a mid-range canvas tool roll. The 1200D fabric, six zippered pockets and 2-year warranty are more than most bags at this price offer. It is a fair buy if you carry hand tools, not power tools.
How big is it when rolled up?
Rolled, it measures about 13 by 4.7 inches, so it fits in a standard drawer or a car door pocket. Unrolled it is 48 x 32 cm, with each large compartment about 11.8 by 3.3 inches.
Will it hold a hammer or a cordless drill?
A claw hammer fits in a large compartment, but the bag is only 8 cm deep, so a cordless drill will not fit. It is built for hand tools within the 27 lb load limit.
Is the fabric actually waterproof?
Yobobo lists it as water resistant, not waterproof. The 1200D Oxford fabric sheds rain and splashes, but do not leave it out in a downpour or soak it.
What is the grommet for?
There is a 0.35 inch (about 9 mm) grommet, sized for hanging the bag on a hook or pegboard. It also lets water drain if the bag gets wet.
When is the best time to buy it?
Only one store, Amazon, lists a new price, so there is no competing price to wait for. Watch for Amazon tool-bag promotions around Father's Day and Black Friday.
Where is the Yobobo Tool Bag for Hand Tools cheapest?
At Amazon, for $30.59, as of our latest check.
