Questions and answers
- Is the ZPS.3 a complete slide?
- No. It ships as a bare slide with no barrel, recoil spring, firing pin, extractor or sights. You supply those parts or buy them separately.
- Which Glock models does it fit?
- It is cut for the Glock 19 Gen 3 only. Gen 4 and Gen 5 frames use a different slide and recoil setup, so it will not drop in.
- Which optics fit the cut?
- The cut is for the Trijicon RMR footprint. That also covers many RMR-pattern red dots, but check the footprint of your specific optic before buying.
- Do I need to break it in?
- Plan on a few hundred rounds of break-in with full-power 9 mm Luger. If it will not cycle, check the recoil spring weight and barrel fit first.
- Is it worth it over milling my factory slide?
- Milling a factory slide is usually cheaper and keeps your original parts. The ZPS.3 makes sense if you want a second upper, a specific finish, or do not want to ship your slide out.
