Is the white Zote different from the pink bar?

The white bar is the milder, lower-scent version; the pink bar has a stronger floral scent. Both are laundry soap bars used for hand-washing and pretreating.

Can I use it in a washing machine?

Yes, but grate or dissolve it first so it disperses. Many people use it as a pretreater and rely on regular detergent for the main wash.

How long does one bar last?

At 14.1 oz it lasts a long time for hand-washing, often months for a small household. Heavy pretreating uses it up faster.

Is it safe for colors?

It is generally used on colors, but don't leave it on fabric for long periods. Test on a hidden spot first for delicate or dark items.

Is $16.00 a good price?

That is the only new price found, $16.00 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026. Compare it with multipacks, which usually cost less per bar.

Our take on the Zote White Laundry Bar Soap, 14.1 oz

Zote White is a large 14.1 oz bar of laundry soap from a Mexican brand long used for hand-washing clothes and pretreating stains. The best new price is $16.00 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, the only new price found, so there is no recent range to compare it against.
