Questions and answers
- When does BikeExchange have sales?
- BikeExchange is a marketplace, not a single retailer, so discounts come from individual sellers and shops rather than one storewide sale calendar. Clearance on prior-year models tends to cluster in fall and winter, and used listings change daily.
- Where is the cheapest place to buy a Salsa Journeyer?
- Compare listings on the same model, since sellers set their own prices. On this page the Journeyer Claris 700 is $549.99 and the Apex 1 700 is $799.99, both well below the GRX 600 at $1,299.99.
- What are the differences between the Salsa Journeyer models?
- The Claris is the entry build with a 2x8 Shimano Claris drivetrain. The GRX 600 steps up to a gravel-specific 2x11 groupset and hydraulic disc brakes. The Apex 1 is a 1x11 SRAM build with a single chainring and a wide-range cassette.
- What is BikeExchange's return policy?
- Returns are handled by the individual seller or shop, not by BikeExchange as a whole, so check the listing's terms before you buy. Used private-sale bikes often sell as-is with no returns.
