Best 15.6-inch HP laptops

Top pick: HP 15.6" HD Touchscreen (Intel Core i3-1315U, Windows 11 Home). For everyday browsing, email, documents and video calls, a current-gen Core i3 with a touchscreen is the sweet spot — quick enough to feel smooth, and the touch display makes casual use easier. It's also the best value of the HP 15.6" models here.

Who the others suit:

• HP 15.6" FHD Touch, Core Ultra 5 — if you want a sharper full-HD screen and a newer chip for heavier multitasking.
• HP 15.6" Windows 11, i7 / 16 GB / 1 TB — if you keep lots of files and many tabs open at once.
• HP 15.6" FHD Touch Business, i7 / 16 GB / 2 TB — for the most storage and a more work-oriented build.
• HP 15.6" AMD Ryzen 7 — a solid all-rounder if you prefer AMD.
• HP 15.6" HD, Intel N250 — the budget route; fine for light web and email, but expect it to slow with many tabs.

Skip the 4 GB RAM models if you can — they age quickly.
