Best gaming laptops with 1440p displays

Top pick: MSI Stealth A16 AI+ — a 16" QHD+ 240Hz panel with an RTX 5080 and 32GB RAM, so it drives high frame rates at 1440p-class detail and still slips into a backpack. The best all-rounder here.

Who the others suit:

• Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 AI — the balanced middle: 2560×1600 screen, strong GPU, less money than the MSI.
• Sager NP7560P — sharpest screen of the lot at 3200×1800; pick it if you also do creative work.
• Thunderobot Storm 17 — biggest screen (17.3" QHD 165Hz) for a desk-bound setup.
• HP Omen 16 — only 1920×1200, so it misses your screen requirement; the budget fallback if you'd trade resolution for price.
