Best laptops with 16GB RAM

Top pick: HP OmniBook 3 16 — the safest all-rounder here. A 16-inch 1920×1200 screen, AMD processor and 16GB of RAM handle everyday work, browser tabs and light photo editing without strain, and it's the best-reviewed of the mainstream picks.

Who the others suit:

• Dell 16 Plus 2-in-1 — you want a touchscreen that folds into a tablet for notes or sketching.
• HP OmniBook X Flip 16 — same idea, a flip touchscreen, with a much larger pool of owner ratings behind it.
• HP Victus 15.6" (RTX 4050) — you game or edit video and want a dedicated graphics card.
• HP 15.6" Ryzen 7 touchscreen — a fast everyday machine with a touch display and no gaming needs.
• Lenovo V15 / TPV 16" — tight budget, mostly documents and web.
• HP 17" — you want the biggest screen for the money.

Skip the bargain-bin no-name models if you need it to last; the big-brand picks above are the safer buy.
