Questions and answers
- When does Mayfair run sales?
- Mayfair seats are low-cost commodity items, so discounts usually come from the retailer rather than the brand. Watch for store-wide bathroom or home-improvement promotions and clearance on specific colors like bone. There are no live deals on this page right now.
- Where is Mayfair cheapest?
- Cushioned Mayfair seats typically sell for well under $40 at mass retailers and home centers, with the plain soft seat at the low end. Prices move by color and hinge type, so compare the exact model number across stores before buying. No prices are listed on this page at this time.
- What are Mayfair's best products?
- The padded vinyl-over-wood-core seats are the core product: they stay warmer than plastic and hold up better than foam-only cushions. The Soft Cushion with Wood Core and the Padded round seat in bone are the most common picks. Molded plastic seats are cheaper but less comfortable.
- What is the return policy?
- Returns are handled by the store you buy from, not by Mayfair, so the window and terms depend on the retailer. Keep the packaging and receipt, since seats are often excluded from extended return periods once installed.
- Do the hinges fit standard toilets?
- The round seats fit standard round bowls; elongated bowls need the elongated version of the same model. Check the bowl shape and hinge spread before ordering, because a round seat will not sit correctly on an elongated bowl.
