Questions and answers
- When does McDavid go on sale?
- McDavid discounts cluster around back-to-school and holiday periods, and retailers often clear older colorways in late summer. No live deals are listed on this page right now, so check back for markdowns.
- Where is McDavid cheapest?
- Large sporting goods retailers and Amazon usually undercut specialty running stores on basic braces like the elbow straps. Compare the same model number across stores, since McDavid sells similar straps at different price points.
- What is McDavid best known for?
- Its hex-padded compression apparel and hinged knee braces are the flagship products, widely used in basketball and football. The elbow straps are simpler items aimed at tennis elbow and tendonitis relief.
- What is the difference between the two elbow straps?
- The Elbow Strap with Pads uses a padded band to compress the forearm below the elbow. The Tennis Elbow Support Strap With Pads targets the same area with a narrower strap and a gel or foam pad over the tendon.
- What is McDavid's return policy?
- Returns depend on the store you buy from, not McDavid directly, so check the retailer's window before ordering. Most major retailers accept unopened braces within 30 to 90 days.
