Is this strap good for runner's knee?

Yes. It is designed to press on the patellar tendon just below the kneecap, which is where runner's knee and jumper's knee pain usually sits. It gives light support, not structural bracing.

How do I know which size to get?

The listing shows size 0, and the hook-and-loop closure adjusts to fit most wearers. If your thigh or calf is large, check the brand's size chart before buying.

Can I wear it on either knee?

Yes. The strap fits the left or right knee and can be moved between them.

Can I wear it all day?

It is built for all-day wear and is breathable, but the strap may loosen with sweat, so expect to re-tighten it.

Does it replace a knee sleeve or brace?

No. It targets the tendon only. For instability, swelling or post-injury support, a full sleeve or hinged brace is the better choice.

Our take on the McDavid Sport Jumper's Knee Patella Strap
