Cons
- Instructions forbid an extension cord
- Plug cannot be exposed to weather
- Outdoor use is limited in practice
Questions and answers
- Which is better for a front porch display?
- The Mr. Christmas horse. It is 50 inches tall with LEDs and a timer. Keep the adapter plug out of the weather, since the instructions warn against exposing it.
- Which is better for a collector?
- The Lenox horse. It is hand-painted porcelain with 23 jewels, pearl beading and a real horsehair tail, made for indoor display.
- Can the Mr. Christmas horse really stay outside?
- It is sold as indoor/outdoor, but buyers report the instructions forbid an extension cord and say the plug cannot be in the weather. Plan a covered spot near an outlet.
- Is the Lenox horse really 50 inches tall?
- The listing says 50 in tall and 65 in overall, but its own dimensions line reads 11.8 x 7.3 x 15.9 in. Treat it as a tabletop figurine, not a 50-inch piece.
- Is the Mr. Christmas horse worth $189.99?
- If you want a large lit yard piece, yes. It was $189.99 as of November 1, 2026. If you want a collectible, the Lenox figurine fits that job better.
