Yes for most shoppers. It is about $450 cheaper at current prices and has the sharper screen, lighter body and longer rated battery. The Dell's edge is its 2-in-1 hinge.
Which is better for drawing?
The Acer ships with an active stylus and a haptic touchpad that doubles as a drawing tablet. The Dell converts to a tablet, which some artists prefer, but it has no included pen listed.
Which is lighter to carry?
The Acer at 3.42 lb. The Dell is 4.5 lb, about a pound more.
Does the Dell last longer on battery?
No. Dell rates it up to 21 hours; Acer rates the Swift 16 AI up to 24 hours. Real-world results will vary.
Can I get more than 16GB RAM in either?
Both list 16GB. The Acer uses soldered LPDDR5X, and buyers have complained about the limit, so plan on 16GB for the life of the machine.
