Are these two cabs the same product?

They share the same design, materials and model list, and the 721026 is the Ariens part number for this cab. Treat them as the same cab sold under two listings, and check the part number on the box when it arrives.

Which is better for a Deluxe or Platinum model?

Both list DELUXE and PLATINUM as compatible. Check your specific model number against the long fit list before ordering, because reviewers of the 721026 report fitment problems on some machines.

Is the cheaper one worth the risk?

At $49.99 at eBay versus $163.95 at Mowtown Lochen Equipment as of November 3, 2026, the 721026 saves about $114. That is worth it if your model number is on the list and you are comfortable with basic assembly.

Does either cab require drilling?

No. Both use a clamp system and mount without drilling, and both assemble with common hand tools.

Will the windows stay clear in cold weather?

Both use freeze-resistant windows. They are flexible plastic, so clean them with a soft cloth and avoid scraping with ice tools.

How hard is assembly?

The cab itself goes together easily according to reviewers of the 721026. The weak point is the written instructions and pictures, so look up the model-specific guide before you start.

Ariens Cab for 2-stage snow blower vs Ariens 721026 Snow Thro Cab for Use On All 2 Stages

These are the same Ariens Sno-Thro cab design, so the real difference is price and fitment risk. The 721026 is $49.99 at eBay as of November 3, 2026, while the cab sold under the Ariens part listing is $163.95 at Mowtown Lochen Equipment as of November 3, 2026. Buy the cheaper 721026 if you can confirm your model number against the fit list, and pay the higher price only if you want the listing that matches your exact machine and store support.
