Will it fit my Ariens snow blower?

It fits a long list of Ariens two-stage model numbers, including many 920, 921, 924 and 926 series machines. Check your model number against the fit list before buying, since owners report fitment problems on some models.

Does installation require drilling?

No. The cab mounts with a special clamp and common hand tools. The open front is designed to leave chute control access clear.

At $49.99 at eBay as of November 3, 2026, it is a low-cost way to block wind and blowback compared with a hard cab. Weigh that against the reported fit and sag issues.

How does it compare with a hard cab?

This is a fabric shell on a steel frame, so it is lighter and cheaper than a hard cab but offers less rigidity and insulation. It is best for wind and snow protection, not warmth.

The kit includes the steel tube frame, fabric shell with windows and the mounting clamps. Hand tools are needed for assembly but are not included.

Snow cab prices tend to drop in spring and rise in fall before snow season. Track the price history and buy outside the pre-winter rush.
