Which is better for hot sleepers?

The Beautyrest 600. It is sold as cooling with a sateen weave, while the Eddie Bauer is brushed flannel built for warmth.

Which fits a deep mattress?

The Beautyrest 600 fits up to 16 inches. The Eddie Bauer Rookeries fits up to 14 inches, so it may not stay tucked on a thick mattress.

Is the Eddie Bauer worth the extra?

Its recent prices topped out at $36.95, which is low for a flannel set. The higher rating and flannel warmth make it a good value if you want a winter set.

Hard to say from specs alone. The Beautyrest has a higher thread count and anti-microbial treatment; the Eddie Bauer's 150 thread count flannel can pill with heavy washing.

Which is better for a guest room?

The Eddie Bauer's plaid look and strong rating suit a guest room, but check the mattress depth first. Choose the Beautyrest for a hot room or a deep mattress.

Do both sets include four pieces?

Yes. Both are four-piece sets with a flat sheet, fitted sheet, and two pillowcases.
