Which is better for pet hair on couches?

The Scorpion is superior for upholstery because its 7-amp motor provides significantly more suction for pulling hair out of fabric than the Simpli-Stik.

Can the Simpli-Stik clean carpets?

It is designed for hard floors and low-pile rugs; it lacks a motorized brush roll, so it will struggle on thick or plush carpeting.

Do these vacuums require bags?

No, both models are bagless and use easy-empty dirt cups to save on maintenance costs.

Is the Scorpion worth the extra $20?

Only if you specifically need high-power suction for cars or stairs. For general dorm or apartment cleaning, the Simpli-Stik offers more utility for less money.
