Which ashtray is better for outdoor use?

The La Aroma de Cuba is better for outdoors because its generous ash dish is deeper, protecting ash from being blown away by the wind.

Can both handle large 60-ring gauge cigars?

Yes, both are designed with four rests that accommodate standard and large format cigars, though the La Aroma de Cuba provides more physical space between cigars.

Is the Xikar ashtray durable?

It is made of quality ceramic which is heat resistant and easy to wash, though like all ceramic, it will crack or shatter if dropped on a hard surface.

Is the La Aroma de Cuba worth the extra $16?

It is worth the premium if you value the specific brand aesthetic and a deeper well that needs to be emptied less often during a group session.
