The LG B6E. It lists four HDMI inputs, G-Sync, FreeSync Premium and a 0.1ms response time. The Sony lists VRR but only one HDMI port and no adaptive sync brands.

Is the Sony worth $600 more?

Only if built-in sound matters. Acoustic Surface Audio+ and DTS:X can replace a soundbar, which offsets part of the gap. For picture alone, both are 120Hz OLEDs with Dolby Vision.

Which has better sound?

The Sony. Its actuators vibrate the panel itself, and it adds DTS:X and Voice Zoom 3. The LG relies on conventional speakers and Dolby Atmos processing.

Do both support Dolby Vision?

Yes. Both list Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG, so streaming and disc HDR content works on either.

How many devices can I connect?

The LG lists four HDMI inputs. The Sony listing shows one HDMI port, so check the set before buying if you have a console, soundbar and streamer.

Which has the better price history?

The LG moved between $669.99 and $799.99 since October 27, 2026. The Sony sat at $1,398.00 to $1,669.99 in the same window, so the LG has shown more discounting.
