Which is better for gaming, the C6 or the C4?

The C6. It lists 0.1ms response, 120Hz native refresh and VRR up to 165Hz for PC gaming on four HDMI 2.1 inputs. The C4 is also 120Hz with four HDMI ports, but it does not list the 165Hz PC mode.

Is the C6 worth about $193 more than the C4?

Yes if you want the brighter evo panel, the newer Alpha 11 Gen3 processor, webOS 26 and 165Hz PC gaming. If you mostly watch movies and stream, the C4 saves money and still delivers OLED contrast with Dolby Vision.

Which has better sound?

The C6, with a 2.2-channel system and four speakers. The C4 has two speakers with Dolby Atmos. Either way, a soundbar will beat both for movies.

Which is better in a bright room?

The C6. LG markets it as Bright Room Ready with the evo panel and the newer processor. The C4 has Brightness Booster but is rated at 250 nits, so it struggles more with direct sunlight.

Do both support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos?

Yes. Both list Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and FILMMAKER MODE. The C4 also lists HDR10 and HLG.

Neither has a published lifespan advantage. Both are OLED panels with the same burn-in risk, so vary content and avoid static logos at high brightness on either.
