Which is better for side sleepers?

The IULULU. Its medium gel foam gives more cushioning at the shoulder and hip than the Mila's firm surface.

Which is better for a kid's room or bunk?

The Mila White. It is firm, 6 inches thin, weighs 20 lb and costs $86.00 at English Elm as of November 4, 2026.

Both carry a 10-year warranty. The IULULU states a 450 lb weight limit; the Mila does not state one, so heavier sleepers have less assurance there.

Is the IULULU worth the extra $7?

Yes if you want a washable removable cover and a medium feel. If you want firm support and the lowest price, the Mila is enough.

Do either need a box spring?

Neither includes a foundation. Both work on a slatted frame, platform bed or flat foundation.

How long until they are usable?

The Mila expands in about 2-3 hours per its specs. The IULULU says up to 72 hours for full expansion.
