Questions and answers
- Is the 5G version worth the extra $134.99?
- Only if you regularly need data away from Wi-Fi. The screen, chip, RAM and storage are the same, so the premium buys connectivity alone.
- Which has better battery life?
- The Wi-Fi model lists an 8000mAh battery; the 5G listing does not state capacity. Cellular radios typically draw more power, so expect the Wi-Fi model to last longer per charge.
- Can I use the S Pen on both?
- The 5G listing includes an S Pen. The Wi-Fi listing does not state one, so confirm before buying if stylus input matters.
- Do both run the same software?
- Yes. Both ship with Android 15 and the Exynos 1580, so apps and updates should match.
- Which is better for students?
- The Wi-Fi model, unless campus Wi-Fi is unreliable. It saves $134.99 and covers note-taking and streaming on a network.
- Does the 5G model work with any carrier?
- It lists LTE and 5G bands for major US networks, but check carrier compatibility and unlocking before buying.
