About the SOLITE Brittani Hardside Spinner 5-Piece Set

The SOLITE Brittani Hardside Spinner 5-Piece Set is a polypropylene hardside luggage bundle built around a large checked case and a carry-on, with TSA locks, double spinner wheels and expandable depth on the large. The large weighs 9.6 lbs empty and measures about 31.1 by 20 by 13.8 inches, so it is a checked bag, not a carry-on. At $99.99 at Belk as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of what a multi-piece hardside set usually costs, though only two stores list it new.

Best forFamilies or households that want several matching cases at onceOccasional travelers who check a bagBuyers who want a TSA lock and spinner wheels on a budget
Pros
  • Hardside polypropylene shell resists scuffs and light rain
  • TSA-approved lock on the cases
  • Double spinner wheels roll smoothly on four corners
  • Large case expands 1.5 inches for extra packing room
  • Built-in ID tag and recessed metal logo plate
  • Three handles on the large for lifting and carrying
Cons
  • Large case is about 31 inches tall, so it must be checked
  • 9.6 lbs empty is heavy before you pack anything
  • Polypropylene is stiffer and less forgiving than softside bags
  • Set pieces are limited to large and carry-on despite the five-piece count
  • Little independent review coverage of this specific set

Questions and answers

Is the large case carry-on size?
No. At roughly 31.1 by 20 by 13.8 inches it exceeds carry-on limits on most US airlines and has to be checked. The carry-on piece in the set is the one to take in the cabin.
Is $99.99 a good price for this set?
At $99.99 at Belk as of November 3, 2026, it is cheap for a multi-piece hardside set with TSA locks and spinner wheels. Comparable sets from major brands usually run well over $150.
What is actually in the box?
The set is sold as a five-piece bundle that includes a large checked case and a carry-on, along with the smaller matching pieces. Check the piece list before buying if you need a specific size.
Does the large case expand?
Yes. The large has 1.5 inches of expandable depth, which helps on return trips but adds bulk and weight when full.
Is polypropylene durable enough for checked bags?
Polypropylene is a common hardside material and handles scuffs and light impacts well. It is rigid, so it flexes less than softside bags and can crack under heavy impact.
How much does the set weigh?
The large case weighs 9.6 lbs empty, and the full set is listed at 16.1 lbs. That leaves less room under airline weight limits than lighter softside bags.
