Is the Novilla 6 Inch Hybrid Mattress worth it?

For a bunk bed, guest room or kid's room, yes. At $88.23 at Target as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to fill a twin frame. Adults wanting a main mattress should spend more.

Novilla lists it as medium. The gel memory foam softens the surface, but the thin Bonnell core underneath keeps it from feeling plush.

Will it work in a bunk bed?

Yes. At 6 inches it stays below most bunk rails and keeps the top bunk safe. Check your bunk's maximum mattress height first.

Does it need a box spring?

No. It works on a slatted frame, platform bed or bunk base. A box spring adds height you may not want on a low bed.

How long will it last?

Expect a few years of light use. Bonnell springs and thin foam at this price are not built for a decade of nightly adult sleeping.

Target runs mattress sales around holidays and back-to-school. The current $88.23 is already near the bottom of its usual range.
