Is the Novilla Bliss 6 Inch worth it?

For a bunk, trundle or guest bed, yes. At $117.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it costs little more than a good air mattress. For nightly adult use, spend more on a thicker mattress.

Is 6 inches thick enough for an adult?

It can work for a lighter adult or a child, but most adults will want at least 8 inches for support. Heavier sleepers may feel the foam core through the top layer.

Does it need a box spring?

No. It works on a platform bed, slatted frame or box spring. On slats, keep gaps narrow so the foam does not sag between them.

How long does it take to expand?

Most foam mattresses like this one reach full shape within 24 to 72 hours after unboxing. A slight foam smell is normal at first and fades with airing out.

Is the gel foam actually cooler?

Gel infusion can feel cooler at first touch, but a 6-inch foam mattress still traps some heat. It is not a substitute for a mattress with active cooling or strong airflow.

Only two stores list it new, so discounts are limited. Watch eBay listings and holiday sales; the current best is $117.99 as of November 4, 2026.

Our take on the Novilla Bliss 6 Inch Gel Twin XL

The Novilla Bliss 6 Inch Gel is a budget memory foam mattress in Twin XL, built from gel-infused memory foam over a foam core. At 6 inches it is thin, so it suits a bunk, trundle, guest room or a child's first bed rather than a main adult mattress. The best new price is $117.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, and only two stores list it new, so there is little price competition to shop around.
