Is 4 quarts enough for a family?

It suits one or two people. A family of four will need to cook in batches or step up to a 6-quart model.

Can I put the basket in the dishwasher?

Yes. The basket and crisper tray are dishwasher-safe, though hand washing keeps the coating in better shape.

What temperature range does it cover?

140°F to 400°F, which covers dehydrating at the low end and crisping at the top.

Does it need much counter space?

It measures about 9.3 by 9.3 by 11.7 inches, so it fits under most upper cabinets with clearance for the top vent.

Is this a good price?

At $37.49 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, it is near the bottom of the 4-quart market. Check that the listing includes the full warranty.

How long is the cord?

About 37 inches, enough to reach a nearby outlet without an extension cord.
