Is the Adesso Piedmont worth it?

At $59.50 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it is a reasonable buy if you want uplighting and a reading light in one lamp. If you only need ambient light, a simpler torchiere costs less.

Does it come with bulbs?

Usually not. It takes three medium-base E-26 A19 bulbs, and you supply them. Keep total wattage at or under 300 W.

Yes, E-26 LED A19 bulbs fit and run cooler. The 300 W rating is a maximum, so low-wattage LEDs are fine.

How tall is it and how much floor space does it need?

It stands 71 inches tall and about 14 inches wide and deep. It weighs roughly 16 lb, so it needs a stable spot near an outlet.

Does the dimmer control both lights?

The dimmer controls the main uplight. The gooseneck reading light is adjusted by its own switch and aimed by hand.

Its lowest recent daily price was $52.99 on October 31, 2026, against $59.50 on November 2. Watch for holiday sales, when floor lamps often drop.
