Is the Adesso Greer worth it?

If you want cheap ambient uplight with a touch dimmer, yes. If you need bright task lighting for reading or work, a different lamp will serve you better.

Does it come with a bulb?

Adesso torchieres often ship without a bulb, so check the listing before ordering. It takes a standard bulb, which keeps replacement cheap.

How tall is it and does it fit a small room?

Torchiere lamps like this typically stand around 5 to 6 feet tall, so confirm the exact height on the listing. The slim footprint suits small rooms, but the uplight spreads widely.

Can I use a smart bulb in it?

Yes, if the socket is standard, a smart bulb works, but the touch dimmer may not control it. Set brightness through the bulb's app instead.

Is it good for reading?

Not on its own. The light points up, so add a table or reading lamp for close work.

Our take on the Adesso Greer LED Torchiere Floor Lamp

The Adesso Greer is a black torchiere floor lamp that throws light upward and has a touch dimmer on the pole. Its head adjusts so you can aim the glow at a wall or ceiling. It is a simple, low-cost way to add ambient light to a room without a table lamp. No current price was provided for this page, so check the live comparison before buying.
