Questions and answers

Is $256.79 a good price for this set?

It is the best new price among the three stores selling it, at Kohl's as of November 7, 2026. That works out to about $86 per bag for a hard-shell set with TSA locks and YKK zippers.

Is the carry-on carry-on size?

The carry-on holds 40.26 to 49.21 liters and weighs about 9 lbs. Check your airline's size and weight limits, since the empty weight leaves less room for packing on strict carriers.

Does it have TSA locks?

Yes. The set has TSA-approved locks, so security can open and relock the bags without cutting them.

Are the bags expandable?

Yes, the bags have expandable compartments that add packing depth. The hard shell still limits how much the bag can flex.

What is in the box?

You get three spinners: a carry-on, a medium checked bag and a large checked bag. Each has a telescopic handle with rubber padding, double spinner wheels and interior compression straps.

How does it compare with a soft-sided set?

The hard shell protects contents better and resists rain, but it weighs more empty and gives less when full. Soft-sided sets are lighter and stuff into tight spaces more easily.
