Gracie Oaks Isalena Handmade Flatweave Farmhouse Jute Area Rug

What reviewers say

Questions and answers

Is this rug soft enough for a bedroom?

No. Jute is a coarse natural fiber, so it suits living rooms, dining rooms and entries better than bedrooms or play areas. Use a rug pad if you want a little more cushion.

Does the Isalena rug shed?

Some shedding and loose fibers are normal with new jute. Vacuum gently without a beater bar, and most loose fibers settle after a few weeks.

Can it go in a bathroom or kitchen?

It is not a good fit for wet rooms. Jute absorbs moisture and can stain or mildew, so keep it in dry, covered spaces.

Is the rug reversible?

Flatweave jute rugs like this are usually reversible, which lets you flip it to even out wear. Check the label on the size you order to confirm.

What sizes does it come in?

The Isalena is sold in several rectangular sizes, from small accent rugs to larger room sizes. Availability varies by size at Wayfair.

When is the best time to buy?

Only one store lists it new, at $132.99 as of November 5, 2026, so discounts are limited. Watch for seasonal rug sales at Wayfair.
