About the Merax 5-Piece Expandable ABS Luggage Set with Duffel Bag

The Merax 5-Piece Expandable ABS Luggage Set is a budget travel bundle: four hard-shell spinner suitcases plus a matching duffel bag, in six colorways. The ABS shells keep weight and cost down, and the cases expand for extra packing room. At $140.77 at Home Depot as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, so the price is a good one for a set this size.

ABS is less impact-resistant than polycarbonate or aluminum
  • Hard shells have little give when overpacked
  • Wheels and handles are basic on budget sets
  • Duffel bag is a simple add-on, not a full travel bag

    Questions and answers

Is this set good for checked bags?
The larger cases work as checked luggage, but ABS shells are less durable than polycarbonate under rough handling. For frequent flying, expect dents over time.
What is included in the 5-piece set?
It is four hard-shell spinner suitcases in graduated sizes plus a matching duffel bag. Exact dimensions vary by listing, so check the size chart before buying.
    Is $140.77 a good price?
Yes. At $140.77 at Home Depot as of November 5, 2026, the set is near the low end of its recent range, and only two stores list it new.
    Do the suitcases expand?
Yes, the cases have expansion zippers that add a few inches of packing depth. Leave some room, since the hard shells do not stretch.
    Which color should I pick?
Black and blue hide scuffs best; white, yellow and pink show marks sooner. All six colors are the same ABS construction.
