Our take on the 14 inch Folding Electric Bike 500W 36V 12Ah

This is a 14-inch folding electric bike with a 350W motor (500W peak), a removable 36V 12Ah battery, and a 20 MPH top speed. It folds for bus racks and car trunks, runs in full-electric, pedal-assist or plain pedal modes, and is UL2849 certified with front and rear lights. At $174.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of what a folding e-bike with these specs costs, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper alternative to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is $174.99 a good price for this e-bike?
It is a low price for a folding e-bike with a removable 36V 12Ah battery and UL2849 certification. Only one store lists it new at $174.99 as of November 3, 2026, so there is no competing price to beat it right now.
How far can it really go on a charge?
The 20+ mile figure is for assisted pedaling. Expect noticeably less range in full-electric throttle mode, and less again with a heavy rider or hills.
Can I ride it without pedaling?
Yes. It has a full-electric mode, plus pedal assist and regular pedaling. Owners note the pedals feel pointless in electric mode, which is normal for a small folder.
Will it fit me?
One owner at 5ft7" said it fits perfectly. The 14-inch wheels and compact frame suit shorter and average-height riders; taller riders should check the seat and handlebar height before buying.
What comes in the box?
The bike arrives partly assembled and owners report assembly is easy. A rear basket is included; a speedometer is not, and the front light is weak enough that many riders add their own.
When is it cheapest?
Walmart lists it at $174.99 as of November 3, 2026. Folding e-bikes like this tend to drop around Black Friday and end-of-season sales, so watch the price history before buying.
Where is the 14 inch Folding Electric Bike 500W 36V 12Ah cheapest?
