Questions and answers

Is the XP28000iHT worth it over a smaller generator?
If you need to back up a large home or run 240V loads like a well pump and AC together, its 22,000 running watts and tri-fuel options justify the price. For a few circuits, a smaller unit costs far less.
How much power does it make on propane and natural gas?

Can it connect to a home transfer switch?
Yes. The two 14-50R 50A outlets and L14-30R support a transfer switch or inlet box sized for its output, installed by a licensed electrician.
What comes in the box?
The generator, a remote control, a Battery Tender, DC output wires, a 15 ft 3/4 in natural gas hose, and a 6 ft propane hose with regulator.
How long does it run on a full tank?
About 16 hours at 25% load and 9 hours at 50% load on the 12.7-gallon gasoline tank. On propane, expect 12 to 30 hours at 25% load depending on tank size.
