Pros
  • Light at 1.93 lbs, easy to hold at odd angles

  • Quick charger refills the 2.0Ah battery in about 20 minutes
  • Two-position side handle and built-in LED light

Cons
  • 3.5-star rating suggests mixed owner satisfaction

  • 1-year warranty is short for a power tool
  • 75mm pad limits it to small areas

Questions and answers

Is the AC Delco mini polisher worth it?
For small spot polishing on bikes, boats and tight panels, yes. For full-car paint correction, a larger 18V or corded polisher will do the job faster.

How long does the battery last?
About 40 minutes of run time on the 2.0Ah battery, and roughly 20 minutes to recharge on the quick charger.
What size pads does it take?
It uses 75mm (about 3-inch) backing pads, which suits small areas rather than large flat panels.
Is it variable speed?
Yes. It has a 2-speed gearbox and variable speed from 0 to 2,800 RPM.
