The Acer Aspire 5 A515-43 is a 15.6-inch budget laptop with a Ryzen 3 3200U, 4 GB of RAM and a 128 GB SSD. It stands out for the price class: a full HD no-glare screen, backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader and USB-C, HDMI and Ethernet ports at 4.1 lb. The 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB drive are the weak points, and both are upgradeable. The best new price is $427 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, which is high for this configuration; comparable Aspire 5 models with 8 GB of RAM often sell for less.

Owner feedback on the Aspire 5 line is mixed but mostly positive for the price. People like the screen, keyboard and ports; the common complaints are the small RAM and storage and the modest processor.
