Our take on the ActionHeat 7V Heated Throw Blanket

The ActionHeat 7V is a 50 x 60-inch cordless heated throw with a plush shell and sherpa lining, powered by a rechargeable 7V battery pack. It has three heat settings and one heating zone, so warmth is spread across the whole throw rather than targeted. The battery makes it usable in a car, tent or stadium seat where there is no outlet. At $119.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent price range, with two stores listing it new.

Questions and answers

Is the ActionHeat 7V throw worth it?
It is worth it if you need heat where there is no outlet, such as a car, tent or stadium. If you only use it indoors near a socket, a corded heated throw costs less and runs longer.
How long does the battery last?
Run time depends on the heat setting; the highest setting drains the 7V pack fastest. Expect a few hours per charge on low and noticeably less on high. Carry a spare pack for all-day use.
How big is it and who is it for?
It measures 50 by 60 inches, a lap-and-torso throw rather than a bed blanket. It suits one person in a chair, car seat or bleacher.
Can I wash it?
Yes. Remove the battery pack and wash the blanket, then air dry it. Do not put it in the dryer.
What comes in the box?
The throw, the 7V rechargeable battery pack and its charger. Check that the charger is included, since some listings sell the battery separately.
When is it cheapest?
Heated throws tend to drop in price in late fall and around Black Friday. The current $119.99 at Walmart is already near the low end of its recent range.
Where is the ActionHeat 7V Heated Throw Blanket cheapest?
At Walmart, for $119.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the ActionHeat 7V Heated Throw Blanket?
Rated 4.5 out of 5 from 53 ratings.
Where can I buy the ActionHeat 7V Heated Throw Blanket?
