Our take on the Adam's Polishes Glass Cleaner Gallon

Adam's Polishes Glass Cleaner is a ready-to-use, ammonia-free spray for auto glass, tinted windows and interior screens. Its silane formula cuts dirt, dust and film while leaving a thin protective layer that helps resist smudges. The gallon size is the value buy for people who clean glass often; smaller bottles cost more per ounce. It is a detailing staple rather than a one-off purchase.

Questions and answers

Is it safe on tinted windows and screens?
Yes. It is ammonia-free and listed for tinted windows, navigation screens and tablet screens. Spray lightly and wipe with a clean microfiber to avoid residue.
Does it leave streaks?
Usually not when used sparingly. Over-spraying or using a dirty towel is the common cause of streaks; a second dry wipe fixes it.
How does the gallon compare with the 16 oz bottle?
The gallon is the refill format and costs less per ounce for frequent users. You will need your own spray bottle, since the gallon is a pour jug.
What does it smell like?
It uses a new scent that buyers describe as noticeable but not harsh. If you are sensitive to fragrances, test a small area first.
Is it worth it over a household glass cleaner?
For car glass, tint and screens, yes. The ammonia-free silane formula is gentler on films and screens and leaves a light protective layer that standard cleaners do not.
When is it cheapest?
Gallon sizes tend to dip during detailing-season sales and multi-bottle promotions. Watch the price history before buying a large jug.
