What does a patella tendon knee strap do?

It wraps below the kneecap and presses on the patellar tendon, which can ease pain during running and jumping. It does not stabilize the whole knee like a hinged brace.

Is it one strap or a pair?

It is sold as one piece, so you get a single strap. Buy two if you want one for each knee.

Will it fit my leg size?

The closure is adjustable, but the strap is small, so fit depends on your leg circumference. Check the listed dimensions and the store's fit guidance before buying.

Can I wear it all day?

It is meant for activity, not all-day wear. Take it off after exercise to avoid skin irritation from the padding and pressure.

Is $21.99 a good price?

Target lists it at $21.99 as of November 7, 2026, and it is the only new price shown. That is in line with basic single-strap knee supports, which often run $15 to $30.

Where is the Alilang Sports Patella Tendon Knee Strap cheapest?

Our take on the Alilang Sports Patella Tendon Knee Strap

The Alilang Sports Patella Tendon Knee Strap is a single adjustable band that wraps below the kneecap to put pressure on the patellar tendon. It is a small, low-profile strap with a hook-and-loop closure, aimed at runners and jumpers with jumper's knee or patellar tendon pain. At $21.99 at Target as of November 7, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Best forRunners with patellar tendon painAthletes dealing with jumper's kneePeople who want a minimal strap instead of a full knee sleeveWearing during activity, not for post-surgery support

Pros

Sold as a single strap, so you can buy one for the affected knee
Simple to put on and take off

Cons

One size may not fit very large or very small legs well
Strap can slip or loosen during heavy sweat
Thin padding may irritate skin over long wear
