Our take on the Ultimate Performance Patella Knee Strap

The Ultimate Performance Patella Knee Strap is a neoprene strap that wraps below the kneecap to add firm compression to the patellar tendon. It is one-size with a Velcro closure, so it fits most adults and either knee. The best new price is $5.20 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, the low end of a small field of three stores. At that price it is a cheap way to try patella support before spending more on a full brace.

  • Strap can loosen or slip during heavy activity
  • No rigid hinge or side support for unstable knees
  • Only 12 ratings, so feedback is thin

Questions and answers

Is this strap worth it?
At $5.20 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, it is a low-cost way to try patella compression. It suits mild tendon pain during running and jumping, not knee instability that needs a hinged brace.
How do I size it?
It is one size fits most, with a stated width range of 10 to 22 inches (25 to 55 cm). Measure around your leg just below the kneecap and check that range before buying.
Which knee does it go on?
Either. The strap is ambidextrous, so one unit works on the left or right knee.
Can I wear it all day?
It is designed for support during activity. Neoprene traps heat, so most people wear it for runs, jumps or training and take it off at rest.
When is it cheapest?
The best new price seen is $5.20 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, with three stores selling it new. Check the price history before buying if you are not in a hurry.
