- Is the Kluane warm enough for -30 C?
- Alpine North rates it to -30 C / -22 F. Owners back that up for cold commutes and outdoor waits, though most still layer a sweater underneath.
- How does it fit in plus sizes?
- Buyers in the plus range report a roomy fit that leaves space for layers. The ultra-long hem runs close to the legs, so check the size chart for stride room.
- Is the vegan down as warm as real down?
- It insulates well when dry and is rated to the same -30 C. Synthetic fill loses loft faster than real down if it gets soaked, so dry it thoroughly.
- What is the best price right now?
- $255.00 at Macy's as of November 6, 2026, is the best new price. Four stores sell it new, so compare before buying.
- What is in the box?
- The parka itself with its attached hood. No stuff sack or extra liner is included.
- When is it cheapest?
- Winter parkas like this tend to drop after the holidays and at end-of-season clearance. Watch the price history for dips below $255.
