Questions and answers
- When does ALPS Mountaineering run sales?
- ALPS discounts most often around major outdoor-season events and end-of-season clearance, and its own site runs periodic markdowns on tents and sleeping bags. Deal.ai shows no live ALPS deals right now, so check back for price drops.
- Where is ALPS Mountaineering cheapest?
- ALPS gear is sold on its own site and by outdoor retailers, and prices vary by model and season. Compare the same model across stores before buying; no ALPS price is listed on this page right now.
- What are ALPS Mountaineering's best-known products?
- Its tents, including the Taurus and Mystique lines, are the most widely reviewed, along with sleeping bags like the Zenith and Genesis and its camp chairs. The gear targets budget-conscious car campers rather than ultralight backpackers.
- What is the return policy for ALPS Mountaineering?
- Returns go through the store you bought from, so the policy depends on the retailer. ALPS's own site lists its return terms separately; check them before ordering.
