Is the Alrocket 600W worth it?

For a desk, bedside, or dorm spot, yes: it is compact, safe, and cheap to run at 600W. If you need to heat a whole room, spend more on a 1,500W space heater instead.

How much area can it heat?

It is rated for up to 180 sq ft, but at 600W expect it to warm the person near it more than the room. It works best within a few feet of you.

Does it have a thermostat or remote?

The listed specs show no thermostat or remote, just on/off and fan mode with oscillation. Check the box contents before buying if you need temperature control.

Is it safe to leave on overnight?

It has a tip-over switch, overheat protection, and V0 flame-resistant housing, which helps. Still, most makers advise against unattended overnight use of any space heater.

The fan is small, so it is generally quiet enough for a desk or bedroom. Expect some fan noise on the higher setting.

The only new price listed is $56.89 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026. Small heaters like this often drop during late-fall and winter sales, so watch for holiday promotions.

Our take on the Alrocket 600W PTC Ceramic Desk Space Heater

The Alrocket 600W is a small PTC ceramic desk heater that runs on 600 watts, so it warms a personal space like a desk or bedside rather than a whole room. At $56.89 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.
