Does the Ameire bed need a box spring?

Yes. The Ameire requires a box spring under the mattress. Plan for that extra cost and height.

What weight can it hold?

The frame is rated for 300 lb total. That suits most sleepers but is lower than some heavy-duty beds.

How hard is assembly?

Assembly is required and the wingback headboard is bulky. Two people make it much easier.

What is the headboard made of?

It is a padded wingback headboard upholstered in linen and twill over a solid and manufactured wood frame.

Is it good for sitting up and reading?

Yes. The tall padded headboard and wings give back and side support for sitting up in bed.

Our take on the Ameire Upholstered Linen and Twill Wingback Bed

The Ameire is an upholstered wingback bed from Lark Manor, with a tall padded headboard in linen and twill fabric over a solid and manufactured wood frame. It needs a box spring and holds up to 300 lb. Assembly is required. It is a mid-priced statement bed rather than a budget frame.
