Do I need a box spring with this daybed?

No. The frame includes slats, so a twin mattress sits directly on them. A box spring would add height and is not needed.

What mattress size fits it?

A standard twin mattress, about 38 by 75 inches. A mattress around 8 to 10 inches thick keeps the back usable as a seat.

Is it sturdy enough for daily sitting?

It is built as a daybed, so the slats and frame are meant for sitting and sleeping. Check the listed weight capacity before buying if adults will use it daily.

How hard is assembly?

It ships flat and needs assembly, typically attaching the arms, back and slats. Two people make it easier because the upholstered pieces are bulky.

How do I clean the tufted upholstery?

Vacuum the fabric and buttons with a brush attachment, then spot clean stains with a mild upholstery cleaner. Avoid soaking the fabric around the tufting.

When is the best time to buy?

Upholstered furniture tends to drop during holiday sales and end-of-season clearance. Compare the current price against its recent range before buying.

Our take on the Lark Manor Twin Upholstered Daybed with Tufted Button Design

The Lark Manor Twin Upholstered Daybed is a button-tufted twin frame that works as a sofa by day and a bed at night. It has a fully upholstered back and arms, diamond tufting, and a slatted base, so no box spring is needed. It suits guest rooms, home offices and small apartments where one piece has to do two jobs.
