Is the Ameriwood Farmington TV stand worth it?

It is a reasonable pick if you want a fireplace and a TV stand in one piece at a mid-range price. The catch is particleboard construction and self-assembly. At $469.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, compare it with solid-wood consoles before deciding.

What size TV fits on it?

The top is rated for flat panels up to 60 inches and up to 95 lbs. The stand is 59.6 inches wide, so a 55- to 60-inch TV is the natural fit.

Does the fireplace give off real heat?

It is an electric fireplace, so it provides supplemental zone heat rather than replacing a furnace. It can also run with heat off for flame effect only.

How hard is assembly?

Expect a couple of hours with two people. Instructions and some tools are included, but you will want a screwdriver and a clear floor space.

Will my AV gear fit in the cabinet?

The cabinet fits receivers and consoles of average size, but the 15.7-inch depth is tight for deep components. Measure your gear before buying.

Only one store lists it new, so there is little price competition. Watch for seasonal furniture sales at Amazon rather than expecting frequent discounts.
