Is this cabinet worth it compared with a finished cabinet?

It makes sense if you want a specific stain or paint and are willing to finish the wood yourself. If you want to install and be done, a prefinished cabinet saves labor.

What does unfinished maple mean for finishing?

The wood ships bare, so you sand lightly, apply stain or paint, then seal it. Maple takes stain fairly evenly but can blotch, so a pre-stain conditioner helps.

Does it come assembled?

The listing describes a base cabinet with doors and a drawer but does not state assembly status. Confirm with the seller before ordering if you expect a fully built box.

Will it fit under standard countertops?

At 34.5 inches high it sits just under a standard 36-inch countertop with a 1.5-inch top. Check your counter thickness before installing.

Is the drawer soft-close?

Soft-close hardware is not listed. Assume standard hinges and slides unless the seller confirms otherwise.

When is the best time to buy?

Cabinet prices move with promotions rather than seasons. Compare the current price against its recent range on this page before ordering.

Our take on the Amishwerks Maple Unfinished 24" Double Door Base Cabinet

The Amishwerks Maple 24" Double Door Base Cabinet is an unfinished maple cabinet in a Shaker door style, sized 24 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 34.5 inches high, with one drawer above two doors. Unfinished maple lets you match any stain or paint, and the Shaker frame suits both traditional and modern kitchens. It is a single cabinet, so plan a full run around it rather than treating it as a standalone piece.
